Cadbury World is set to melt hearts and chocolate later this month as it gears up for its Valentine’s Weekend.
From Saturday 11th to Sunday 12th February, visitors will be treated to an extra sweet day out at the Bournville-based attraction, complete with special family entertainment and tempting Valentine’s themed gifts.
Families will be able to enjoy regular live shows in the outdoor marquee throughout the weekend, as a host of children’s entertainers will be on hand to spread joy and laughter with their extraordinary talents.
The much-loved Cadbury characters will also be making an appearance, meeting visitors and posing for photographs, alongside a real-life Cupid statue who will be playing matchmaker throughout the attraction.
The fun doesn’t stop there – there will also be an ‘egg-citing’ Creme Egg hunting game, with a chocolatey prize at the end, plus you can indulge in a Creme Egg rocky road, available in the Cadbury Café.
If you’ve forgotten to pick up a special something for your loved one, the World’s Biggest Cadbury Shop will be stocked with all your favourites, as well as some special Valentine’s favours, such as Cadbury World’s handmade ‘I love you’ chocolates, and an exclusive chocolate heart.
On Valentine’s Day itself (Tuesday 14th February), the onsite Cadbury Café will be serving up a number of delicious Valentine’s treats that are almost too good to share, including a triple layer chocolate cake and pink marble cake. Or, why not make the day extra special by treating your loved one to a Cadbury World Afternoon Tea?
As well as an assortment of savoury sandwiches and sweet snacks, Cadbury World’s Afternoon Tea offers its own unique chocolatey twist on the Great British experience, combining classic items with a special rocky road, made to an exclusive Cadbury recipe, as well as the option of a delicious Cadbury hot chocolate.
Elsewhere in the attraction, visitors can explore the magic and making of the famous Cadbury chocolate, from meeting the infamous drumming gorilla in Advertising Avenue to watching a chocolatier in action in the popular Chocolate Making zone.
The attraction is also home to the 4D Chocolate Adventure zone. The interactive cinema experience gives visitors the opportunity to dive into a pot of melted Cadbury Dairy Milk chocolate, ride the Crunchie Rollercoaster and take to the skies in a Cadbury Creme Egg airship piloted by the Caramel Bunny.
Diane Mitchell, marketing manager at Cadbury World said: “Chocolate and Valentine’s Day is a match made in heaven, so why not combine the two with a trip to Cadbury World?
“With plenty of entertainment and activities, plus themed gifts and chocolatey goodies in the Cadbury Café, a visit to Cadbury World is a must this Valentine’s!”
