We’re looking for a talented Account Manager to support our growing B2B portfolio, which includes Firethorn Trust, Unity Trust Bank, Fieldfisher and Switch Management.

THE ROLE:
Supported by our senior management team and our talented account executives, you will usually be the first point of contact for our clients, ensuring high quality output and the smooth running of a number of client accounts.
With at least three years’ experience in PR or full-service agency comms, you are usually the first point of contact for our clients and act as our engine room, ensuring high quality output and the smooth running of a number of client accounts.
With more than three years’ experience in PR or full-service agency comms, you will be highly effective at working autonomously to manage strategy and output. You will have the experience and skills to direct and motivate your team, as well as proactively deliver top-notch work and a high-quality service to clients. You will also be confident in managing your team to successfully evaluate and report on client activity. Thought leadership and copywriting should be second nature to you, whilst having a keen eye on news and a sharp focus on the detail.

WHAT WE’re LOOKING FOR:
Previous PR experience working primarily across B2B sectors is a must (ideally, three years minimum)
You should be savvy at media relations, and be able confidently to pitch stories and liaise with journalists.
Ability to proactively and independently identify strong media opportunities and generate newsworthy stories.
Ability to: a) understand sector/market issues of our clients b) digest complicated client briefs c) direct junior team members on undertaking relevant research d) generate relevant, new and interesting ideas and then e) put these together in client proposals, if required.
Strong, engaging copywriting (including blogs, press releases, features, award entries, guides etc.) is essential.
Experience in instilling confidence in clients, providing sound advice to and building great relationships with clients.
Organisation and the ability to spin plates and juggle balls is essential - diverse client demands and work output across sectors means that we are a busy team.
Commercial acumen, so that you can put yourself in the clients’ shoes, deliver wider value, and get involved in new business opportunities and pitches.
Some experience in managing, guiding, directing, and motivating junior members to achieve best and maximum output.
