And the winner is… The value of industry awards in celebrating client success
Black tie dress codes, after-dinner speeches and a famous host - we’re all familiar with the trademarks of an industry awards do. Whatever the sector, it’s a chance to catch up with professional peers, network with new contacts and, most importantly, celebrate businesses and individuals making a real impact through their work.
We love to celebrate our clients’ successes and shout about their latest achievements - and crafting strong and compelling entries for the key industry awards in their sector is a great way to do this.
In today’s fast-paced world, where the impetus is to always look ahead and strive towards the next goal, it’s easy to forget what has already been accomplished. But it’s only by reflecting on business success - and any obstacles that were overcome - that you can continue to evolve, grow and set your sights on the next challenge.
As well as giving pause for internal reflection, industry awards can also cement a business’ reputation and credibility within a sector. Recognition from industry experts and professional peers is invaluable in communicating a business’ best assets and achievements - and can lead to new opportunities and leads for the future.
And this includes people! Celebrating success and highlighting great work is also an effective way for organisations to attract and retain the best talent. By showcasing what makes a brand unique, and highlighting its priorities - whether it’s customer service, employee development or sustainability - companies can attract new talent who share the same values and focus.
But with work diaries and schedules busier than ever, we know it can be difficult for clients to carve out the time needed for a successful awards submission.
And that’s where we come in.
At Rewired, award-writing is a key component of the PR services we provide for our clients. Making every word count and managing the submission process, we work in close collaboration with our clients to ensure that every entry is as strong and compelling as it can be. Our support includes:
Researching key national and regional industry awards in the B2B and B2C sectors
Identifying suitable categories and checking entry criteria
Liaising with clients and the wider business to collate the necessary collateral - statistics, quotes, testimonials, case studies and supporting content (video, images)
Drafting and submitting in-depth entries on behalf of our clients
Ongoing comms support - announcing award nominations and wins through press releases, blog posts, web articles and social media content
And we’re pleased to say that the results speak for themselves! Here are some recent highlights from our award-winning clients…
