MISSION:
As a multi-channel retailer, The Entertainer is the largest family-owned toyshop chain in the UK. With around 170 stores attracting over 29 million visitors annually and a strong online presence at www.TheToyShop.com that offers a 30-minute click-and-collect service, we deliver an integrated PR programme and a hands-on, proactive, reactive press office.
Approach:
Working closely with the leading toy retailer, we support and deliver its national PR strategy, including the ongoing press office of The Entertainer and additional campaign activity that drives footfall and sales. We support regional stores with unique store character visits and events, engage with influencers, launch new store openings and charity partnerships, and drive awareness of the brand’s strong values through positive media coverage across regional and national titles.

From managing new product launches to seasonal Christmas campaigns, major retail and charitable partnerships, we are proud to support this British brand across a wide range of activities.
In our first 10 months of working with The Entertainer, we landed over 650 pieces of media coverage with over 85 press releases issued, achieving strong regional, national and trade coverage (as well as 42 broadcast pieces) and featuring in The Independent, The Evening Standard, This Morning, Good Housekeeping, The Mail Online and so much more.
